The Wish Master Review
|Our Rating:||4.7 / 5|
Offering players a wide array of different features, The Wish Master is an innovative and fun slot game. The following review will attempt to give you an overview of the slot, by focussing upon its top jackpot, special symbols, paytable details and betting controls and limits.
The Wish Master has 20 pre-set paylines and the biggest jackpots are returned by five symbol combinations appearing from left to right across those paylines. The most valuable combination of all is that made up of five of the purple snake’s head jewel symbols, which pays at a rate of 750 times the bet level.
If the set bet level is at the maximum of ten, therefore, that results in a return of 7500 coins per payline. Were the combination to cover all 20 paylines at once, a jackpot of 150,000 coins would be achieved and if this were to occur when the maximum possible x 6 multiplier (more on this later) is active, the ultimate top jackpot of 900,000 coins would be won.
With a highest possible coin value of 50p, the currency value of that jackpot could be as much as £450,000.
There are two different special symbols involved in the gameplay of The Wish Master, and these are the game’s wild symbol and its scatter symbol.
Wild Symbol – the wild can appear on any reel, substitutes for all other symbols except for the scatter and always makes up the most valuable possible combination for any payline.
Scatter Symbol – the scatter symbol’s role in the game, meanwhile, is a little more complex. One scatter symbol appearing anywhere on the reels causes a genie to escape from its lamp and randomly activate one of five special features which will be active for the next ten spins.
Those features are either one symbol being replaced by a wild; two floating wilds appearing randomly on the reels for each spin; any wild automatically expanding to cover its whole reel; bet line wins being multiplied by either x2 or x3; or one whole reel being filled with wilds.
If another scatter appears while one feature is already active, a second is concurrently triggered and another five spins with active features are added to those that are ongoing. A maximum of three features can be active at any one time, and this explains how a x6 multiplier can be achieved as the x2 and x3 can both be active at the same time.
If a further scatter appears when three features are already activated, the new feature replaces the oldest of the three and five additional spins are once again added. Coin value and bet level must be left the same for spins with active bonus features, or else the features are lost.
The highest paying symbols within The Wish Master all depict coloured jewels in a setting shaped like a different creature. The most valuable symbol of all is the purple snake’s head jewel and five of these symbols along a payline pays out winnings at a rate of 750 times the bet level.
That would mean a payline jackpot of 7500 at the highest bet level of ten and a total of 150,000 coins by way of a payout if the combination covers all 20 paylines at once. As has been explained above, however, a x6 multiplier is possible for a spin and thus, the top overall jackpot possible is 900,000 coins.
After that symbol, the second most valuable is the orange rabbit’s head jewel symbol and five of those in combination pay at a rate of 500 times the bet level.
If they wish to alter their stake amount per spin, The Wish Master players can adjust the bet level, coin value or both. Coin value determines how much each coin wagered within the game is worth and bet level dictates how many of those coins are staked on each of the game’s 20 paylines.
There are six different possible coin values from 1p to 50p and ten separate bet levels from one to ten. The minimum possible stake, then, is just 20p (with a 1p coin value and bet level of one) and the maximum is £100 (50p coin value and bet level ten).
What We Think
If you’re looking for a slot game option which offers interesting gameplay, varied bonus features and a very generous top jackpot, you need look no further than The Wish Master.
The game may only have two distinct special symbols in the shape of a traditional wild and a scatter but the scatter can unlock a huge variety of different bonus features.
These are all applied to the main slot game and include different types of additional wilds and a multiplier to add both interest and a greater winning potential to the game.
That winning potential is significant, too, as in the correct circumstances a player could win a jackpot worth 900,000 coins or £450,000. That is unquestionably a life-changing amount of money and is right up there with the very best slot jackpots around.
The Wish Master, too, allows players a good level of control over their stake amount to round off what is undoubtedly an excellent overall slot game offering.
