Big Bang Review

In spite of taking the whole of outer space as its inspiration, the Big Bang slot is actually a fairly simple game with few features. To give you the best idea of the game and how it works, you will find below a brief explanation of the game’s top jackpot, its special symbols and features, paytable and betting limits.
Big Bang has a total of 25 pre-set paylines and winning combinations result when any three or more identical symbols arise consecutively from left to right along those paylines. All of the symbols are space themed and result in a different size of win when they arise.
The top jackpot for the game therefore, results when five of the most valuable symbols (described in the paytable section below) make up a payline, the bet level and coin values are set at maximum and when a player’s multiplier meter (more on that later too) is at the highest 32x level. Five of those symbols return a win of 1000 times the bet level, so in the above circumstances that equates to 1000 x 4 x 32 which equals 128,000 coins and a currency value of £64,000.
There is only one special symbol featured within the Big Bang game and that is a traditional wild symbol which serves the purpose of substituting for any other symbol within a payline. The wild symbol substitutes for any other symbol and will always be used to produce the highest paying combination possible.
In lieu of other special symbols, the slot features its innovative and potentially very rewarding multiplier meter. That meter has six levels from 1x to 32x and each consecutive winning spin pushes the meter up a level and makes a subsequent win more valuable. Whenever a spin does not result in a winning combination or when a player raises their bet level or coin value, the meter resets to 1x. If the meter does ever reach 32x it will remain at that level for as long as winning spins continue to result.
Winning combinations for the Big Bang slots game occur when any of the 25 pre-set paylines see three or more identical symbols arise consecutively from left to right along them. A full five consecutive symbols represents the most valuable combination and what that combination pays depends upon which symbol it includes.
The most valuable symbol within the game is that which displays a red star/sun and it is that one which pays 1000 times the bet level when it makes up a full five space payline. The next most valuable combinations are then those involving five of the large yellow, green, purple and blue planet symbols.
The Big Bang slot game has a pre-set 25 paylines that are all always played, so the control a player has over betting amounts comes from how they set the ‘Bet Level’ and ‘Coin Value’ for each individual spin.
There are four different ‘Bet Levels’ from 1-4 that refer to how many coins are bet per payline and then six ‘Coin Value’ settings from 1p to 50p which dictate how much each coin is worth. The minimum bet amount for each spin therefore is a total of 25p (one 1p coin per line) and the maximum is a total of £50 (four 50p coins per line).
What We Think
Big Bang represents an interesting choice of slots game thanks to its simplicity and lack of complicated additional features or bonus games. In fact, it is one of the most straightforward slots around in that it only involves a player spinning the reels and doing nothing else besides. If you want more dynamic and varied gameplay therefore, this is probably not the game for you.
If you play slots purely for the winning potential however, Big Bang is likely to appear far more attractive. Its innovative multiplier meter allows for the possibility of really big wins when you set the bet level and coin value at its highest and the overall top jackpot is one of the best around for such a simple game. Only featuring four bet levels and six coin value options however, represents a comparatively poor level of control over a player’s betting.
